On July 12th, the Buchanan County Health Trust designated over $14,000 to the following organizations providing funding for health related projects and equipment.
The Buchanan County Health Trust was pleased to award over $21,000 to the following organizations to provide funding for or towards health related projects and equipment.
- $3,000 to Kidsville Early Learning Center for an outdoor shade structure
- $4,000 to Hazleton Fire & EMS for three AEDs and accessories
- $5,000 to Buchanan County Health Center for surgical equipment and stand aid
- $2,100 to Buchanan County Agricultural Extension District for an AED and accessories
Currently accepting grant request applications for March 2019 review, the Buchanan County Health Trust is a nonprofit organization exclusively for charitable, education, and scientific purposes which benefit or support the medical and health care for persons within Buchanan County. Since its foundation in 1989, the Health Trust has granted over $550,000 to nonprofit organizations within Buchanan County.
